The Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) is a biennial event showcasing the latest technologies and solutions in the defence and security industries across land, sea, and air.

EDEX is held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces. The event attracts military personnel, government officials, industry professionals, and international delegations. It features a fully-hosted international military VIP Delegation Programme.

The exhibition covers a wide range of sectors, including air defence systems, naval vessels, land vehicles, cyber defence, and more. It provides attendees with opportunities to source new technologies, network with industry leaders, witness live demonstrations, and gain insights into the latest defence industry trends.

EDEX is organized by the Egyptian Armament Authority of the Ministry of Defence, in cooperation with Arabian World Events (AWE).
